For myself, Ceramic means handcrafted. When creating these pieces, I purposely like for my work to look rustic or handmade. It gives it a personal feel, something that is a piece of me. African influences are a huge part of my work. Patterns, architecture and colors are all aspects that I include in my projects. It connects my heritage, my culture into my projects.
